Peace...The Gift and the Treasure

Life can beat down the heart and mind when rough times come. Sensible folk, the good character of humanity, learn ways to assuage the harm of time and circumstance's battle against hope, peace, and good will. I am learning now how to show my best face in the rougher times, and I believe that good times lie ahead just beyond the next sunny day. God is kind enough to give me peace, but I must choose to let it reign within me when my grimier parts would rather stand out. How do you cope with the rougher moments, the uglier times, in your life?
