Brother this is deeper than most know. I'm not a big advocate of thinking about the negative EXCEPT when you are talking about the positives that overcome the negatives DESPITE how invincible they seem.

You've gone deep in describing those that we think block us from God.

My my my.

Wow...thanks.

SG, I believe we owe our minds and hearts the chance to tell the truth and to receive the Truth. Reading through Psalms and Ecclesiastes, I've seen tons of moments where lyricists put their hearts on paper (David, I'd say, was his most vulnerable on paper) and then remembered God's love and ability to meet heart needs and survival solutions along the way. I'm glad to know that I don't have to censor my thoughts when God and I are talking, or I would never feel any freedom to come clean or to get healing.

I dealt for more than three-quarters of my life with that conundrum of wanting to say what I felt even as I worried about people's possible reactions to my words. If we can just open our hearts honestly to God, I know that every one of us, every person on the third rock from the sun, can get our innermost needs met through Christ. If I feel negative, I'll tell God. If I feel positive, I'll tell God.

My privilege and yours is that we can honest with God. I don't know about you, but I can testify that I'm much more likable to other people when I'm honest with God. Just my thoughts...
